Adjustment method for clutch assist valve during use

pageview:10 2024.10.14

1. Adjust the push rod of the clutch booster pump:
On the side of the transmission, loosen the fixing nut of the rod, rotate the push rod, and adjust the length of the push rod as needed (longer or shorter) to ensure that there is appropriate clearance when pushing the rod towards the pressure plate direction.
After adjustment, tighten the fastening nut.
2. Maintain a gap:
Keep the free clearance between the master cylinder push rod and the piston at around 1mm.
Keep the clearance between the power cylinder at around 3-6mm and tighten the limit screw.
3. Adjust the air pressure switch:
Adjust the air pressure switch of the clutch booster to increase the air pressure output and improve the working efficiency of the clutch booster.
4. Adjustment of the empty stroke of the booster push rod:
The idle stroke of the clutch resistance push rod is generally 3-5mm, which is the distance that can be pushed forward by hand.
Loosen the locking nut on the resistance actuator push rod, rotate the adjusting nut to adjust the length of the push rod, so that the clearance between the separation bearings is zero, then turn it back twice, and tighten the locking nut after adjustment.
5. Adjust the clutch height:
The clutch height can be adjusted by changing the length of the booster push rod.
