Shallow sand filter

Description: Shallow sand filters use quartz sand as the filtering medium, effectively intercepting and removing suspended solids, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine, odors, and some heavy metal ions in water through a certain thickness of quartz sand layer, thereby achieving the effect of reducing water turbidity and purifying water quality. Its working principle is based on the selective filtration of particles and suspended solids in water by the particle size of the sand layer. Coarse particles are captured on the surface of the sand layer, while smaller particles and suspended solids may pass through the sand layer, but overall it can significantly reduce harmful substances and pollutants in the water.
